The Carbon Winch features a newly upgraded rating of IP68, so your river crossings and mud runs are stress-free, featuring a breathable membrane style motor breather for heat expansion and contraction. The Carbon Winch gets your recovery done with ease by using the wireless or wired remote (both included) from the safety and convenience of your driver's seat.
IP68 meaning - Ingress Protection 6 - Can withstand dust and dirt 8 - Can be submerged under freshwater for 30 minutes up to 1.5m depth, but not during operation.

Mounting the control box is easy with a multi-fit system that can either be mounted on the winch, above the winch drum or motor. Or with the bracket, it can be mounted to the vehicle or on top of your bulbar.
